Privacy Policy

How Weave handles personal information and creator content.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This policy explains how CypherNet Security Inc. processes personal information when you use Weave. We collect and use only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

Information we process

  • Account and identity information, such as email, authentication identifiers, profile name, creator handle, and account settings.
  • Creator and content information, including uploaded files, metadata, rights declarations, prices, visibility, quality-review results, and publishing history.
  • Marketplace information, including orders, access entitlements, refunds, payout status, and transaction references. Payment-card details are processed by payment providers and are not stored by Weave.
  • Usage, security, and technical information, including logs, device and session signals, content interactions, qualified X2V events, error records, and abuse-prevention signals.
  • Communications you send through support, reporting, messaging, or other service features.

Why we use information

We use information to authenticate users, host and deliver content, provide creator and marketplace features, determine access, process transactions, calculate qualified usage, protect the service, respond to requests, comply with law, and improve reliability.

Service providers and transfers

We may use specialized providers for authentication, cloud hosting, databases, storage, payments, communications, analytics, and operational security. Information may be processed outside Québec or Canada when a provider operates there. We limit access to what is needed for the service and use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

Retention and your choices

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the account, preserve security and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Some integrity, transaction, and X2V records may need to remain in an auditable or append-only form.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information and may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis. Certain records cannot be deleted immediately when law, fraud prevention, accounting, security, or legal claims require retention.

Minors, safeguards, and contact

Weave is not intended for children under 14. Users below the age of majority must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required. Paid creator and payout features may also require eligibility under the payment provider's rules.

We use access controls, private storage, short-lived signed links, validation, logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the current public-beta service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

For privacy requests or questions, contact the Privacy Officer at contact@cyphernetsecurity.com.

These public-beta documents describe Weave's current operation and do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
